Graduation Practice |
- Graduation practice will be held on Wednesday, May 25th at 8:00 am in the old gym. Do not be late!

- You must attend practice to be in the graduation ceremony. No exceptions!
|
- If you received an outstanding financial obligation reminder, make arrangements for payment today! You will be pulled from graduation practice and graduation if you still owe money – even if it is only ten cents.
|
- Dress in comfortable clothing (shorts, t-shirts, etc.). Remember, you are still a student and the dress code will be enforced. Don't forget your sunglasses!

Graduation Ceremony - Parent Information |
- Graduation will be held on Wednesday, May 25th at 7:00 pm in the stadium at CGHS. The stadium will open at 6:00 pm.

- In the event of heavy rain, the ceremony will be postponed until the following morning (passing rain showers will be waited out).
|
- The number of guests will be limited to 8 ticket holders. Eight tickets will be distributed to each graduating senior during graduation practice (5/25/11).

Graduation Ceremony - Student Information |
- Meet in the 700 hall no later than 6:15 pm.
|
- All students will be searched for contraband upon entering the school. You will not be permitted to leave the 700 hall until the procession into the stadium begins.
|
- Dress appropriately. (click here for information on how to properly wear your cap and gown)
|
- Only approved honor cords and stoles will be allowed to be worn during the ceremony.
|
- Do not leave personal items in the 700 hall classrooms during the ceremony. Arrange for a parent or friend to hold your belongings during the ceremony (this includes purses/handbags).

After Graduation - Student Information |
- When graduation is over, immediately report back to your homeroom teacher in the 700 hall to pick up your diploma. You will have 30 minutes from the time the ceremony ends to pick up your diploma. If you do not, you will have to pick it up from the counseling office the next day - May 26th.
